Role Description:
The People Business Partner is an exciting opportunity in our Perth Central Park Office.
Join a dynamic people business partnering team where you’ll play a key role in shaping people outcomes. This position supports the employee lifecycle and annual HR activities and works closely with our People teams to deliver strategic initiatives, enhance employee experience, and drive business success through proactive, solutions-focused support. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain insight into the energy industry, build deep business understanding, and make a real impact on people and performance.
Job responsibilities:
- Triage HR queries and provide timely, practical advice aligned with Synergy’s Code of Conduct, policies, and standards, while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and proactively mitigating HR-related risks.
- Develop trusted stakeholder relationships to foster collaboration and alignment.
- Provide support across the employee lifecycle, including workforce design, internal mobility, job evaluations, and position description reviews, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Support a range of annual HR activities, including, annual reviews, engagement action planning and workforce budgeting (FTE) including providing insights and administrative support to the relevant processes.
- Collaborate with Senior People Business Partners to resolve queries, support performance activities, grievances, and case management.
What you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field
- Previous experience providing generalist human resources advice or business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of employment law with experience applying HR policies and procedures.
- Preferred experience supporting performance management issues and grievances.
- Preferred experience using Korn Ferry Job evaluation methodology.
