Role Description:

The Business Analyst role is a 12 month fixed term opportunity in our Customer Business Unit based at our Central Park, Perth City office.

 

The successful candidate will provide insights and recommended solutions to meet organisational goals. They will collaborate with stakeholders across Synergy to identify and define business needs and translate these into clear requirements, ensuring alignment between business goals, processes and technical solutions.

 

Lastly they will ensure recommendations and solutions are implemented and operationalised to provide sustainable valuable to the business.

Job responsibilities:

  • Investigates business circumstances and analyses problems to provide recommendations on potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Works with the business and key stakeholders to prioritise requirements, categorising them into functional and technical requirements. Documents the traceability of requirements to the business needs and perform business impact analysis.
  • Works with the developers to understand the different solution options and conducts a feasibility assessment including tangible cost benefits and the development of business cases.
  • Defines and manages scope, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for small-scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives.
  • Creates and delivers high-quality analysis documentation and visual aids to support deliverables, including process maps.

What you will bring:

  • 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst position
  • Significant experience dealing with customers and/or business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and identify the underlying causes
  • Experience facilitating meetings and/or workshops
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
