Role Description:

The Enterprise Content Management Specialist role is an opportunity in our Cyber Security and Information Management Team based at our Perth Office. The role is being offered as a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.

 

You will act as a subject matter expert in the OpenText platform, designing, implement, maintain, and optimising the Content Management Platform, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient document management services across Synergy. Providing technical expertise, support, and continuous improvement for the platform, enabling business units to manage information assets effectively and in compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of the OpenText Content Management Platform. 
  • Design and implement solutions for document capture, classification, workflow automation, retention, and disposal in line with business and compliance needs. 
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, reliability, and security of the platform. 
  • Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and deliver tailored information management solutions. 
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, technical guides, and user manuals. 

What you will bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Information Management. 
  • 5+ years experience in design, development, administering, and supporting OpenText Content Management Platform or similar enterprise information management systems. 
  • Strong technical skills in system configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and optimisation. 
  • Experience with workflow automation, document lifecycle management, and information governance. 
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g., State Records Act, FOI, PRIS).
