Role Description:

The Content Specialist role is an opportunity in our Brand and Marketing Team based at our Perth Central Park site. This role is being offered as a max-term full-time contract for 14 months.   

If you’ve got a passion for storytelling, a creative eye, and a love for creating impactful content, we might just have the perfect opportunity for you.

You’ll help amplify the Synergy brand with engaging content across our social media, web, video and digital channels. From short videos, blogs, graphics and more, you’ll help us connect with our audiences, tell our story and educate our customers and community to position Synergy as a trusted energy leader.

Job responsibilities:

  • Own the content plan: Develop and implement Synergy’s content plan to ensure alignment with corporate strategy, brand strategy, and content strategy.
  • Content creation: Ideate and create engaging content for various audiences and platforms including blog, social media, video, website, digital media, marketing materials and articles, maintaining a consistent brand voice and style.
  • Manage content creation from end-to-end: Drive content creation from the spark of an idea, through creation, distribution and amplification across channels, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Continuous improvement: Test and learn, track results and measure the effectiveness of content strategies to strive for best-in-class content.
  • Content collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide content support, ensuring alignment with broader marketing initiatives and overall business objectives.

What you will bring:

  • Experience creating content across a range of formats.
  • Impeccable written communication skills, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using social media management tools.
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset.
