Role Description:
The DER Technology Solutions Lead role is a specialised technical leadership role to deliver system architecture solutions within a domain specific Distributed Energy Resources (DER) technology function.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead and manage solution design and system architectures across the DER landscape.
- Support delivery teams by documenting and formalising technical solution requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of solution architects and developers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on cloud data systems. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure cloud.
- Experience in the energy sector, with an understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in data architecture, data modelling, and database design.
