Role Description:
The Data and Reporting Lead role is a 12-month Max-Term Contract based at our Perth Central Park site and will contribute to the successful delivery of a business-critical project focused on improving customer outcomes and enhancing operational processes.
This role is responsible for leading the delivery of strategic business intelligence. You will provide technical and leadership oversight across all aspects of operational data management, reporting, and visualisation to support delivery of the project.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools using Azure, Power Platform, and SAP data within the project team.
- Working closely with project stakeholders, you will engage business subject matter experts to translate complex SAP and operational datasets into clear and actionable insights.
- You will guide the team in designing robust data models and producing high-impact Power BI dashboards that support performance monitoring, decision-making, and regulatory compliance.
- You will coach and develop a data analyst, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure reporting activities align with project governance, timelines, and strategic objectives.
- Build capability and promote collaboration across functions, teams, and the wider business.
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
- Excellent design aesthetic and the ability to translate complex data into clear and engaging visual stories.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in data visualisation, data analysis and advanced analytics.
- A strong understanding of data architecture, advanced analytics techniques, data visualisation techniques and the ability to lead a team of data professionals.
