Role Description:

The Document Controller role is an opportunity in our Cyber Security and Information Management Team based at our Perth Office. The role is being offered as a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.  

 

You will be responsibly to ensure the effective management, control, and readiness of documentation throughout the project lifecycle, supporting operational readiness and ongoing operational compliance. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate, accessible, and secure records, enabling seamless transition from project delivery to operational.

Job responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain document control processes and systems for project documentation, ensuring alignment with operational readiness requirements and organisational standards 
  • Register, classify, and manage project documents (physical and electronic) throughout their lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, distribution, storage, retrieval, retention, and disposal 
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible for project teams and operational stakeholders 
  • Support project teams in document preparation, formatting, version control, and compliance with document management policies 
  • Facilitate the transition of project documentation to operational teams, ensuring all required records are complete and compliant for handover 

What you will bring:

  • 5+ Years experience in document control, records management and exposure to project environments 
  • Tertiary Qualification in document control, information management, or a related discipline 
  • Knowledge of document control principles, standards, and systems
  • Experience supporting operational readiness or project handover processes
  • Experience with OpenText
  • or project document management systems
