Role Description:
The Early Careers Program Lead is an exciting opportunity in our OD & Learning team based at our Perth CBD office.
The purpose of the Early Careers Program Lead is to is to position Synergy as a market leader in graduate and entry-level programs through best practices and program excellence. This role utilises strategic workforce planning to determine future early career placement within the organization.
You will also analyse, design, develop, manage, evaluate, and continuously improve learning and development programs for Graduates, Apprentices, Trainees, Interns and Work Experience placements at Synergy. The role works cross-functionally to ensure that Synergy has a pipeline of capability required to meet future workforce needs.
Job responsibilities:
- Design, develop and lead a strategic, future-focused Graduate Program aligned with Synergy’s long-term workforce planning and corporate strategy.
- Design and lead the management of Synergy’s Vacation Student and Work Experience programs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and delivering high-quality outcomes and experiences.
- Provide leadership to the Traineeship Coordinator DEI to deliver a best-in-class program for all trainees, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and delivering high-quality outcomes and experiences.
- Design and lead the management of Synergy’s Apprenticeship program, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and delivering high-quality outcomes and experiences.
- Liaise with universities, RTOs, and industry partners, actively representing Synergy at open days, career fairs, and external events to promote early career programs, attract emerging talent, build talent pipelines, and strengthen Synergy’s brand and reputation across the sector.
- Drive innovation in program design and delivery, ensuring Synergy remains a market leader in early career development.
What you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications (Degree in relevant field such as adult education, business, training & assessment or other relevant field) or equivalent of 7-10 years on the job experience in early career employment programs and supporting entry level employees with diverse backgrounds.
- Extensive experience in the design and management of early career employment programs
- Adult Learning and Development Principles
- Managing early career employees in a matrix reporting relationship
