Role Description:
The Enterprise Architect is a newly created opportunity in our Technology and Business Services team based at our Central Park office in Perth.
The Enterprise Architect (EA) plays an integral role in defining and driving Synergy’s transformation and technology strategy. The EA is responsible for developing holistic views and roadmaps of the company’s architecture landscape and processes, partnering with business and technology groups, providing influential support and advice to ensure alignment of technology solutions with the company’s strategic objectives.
Job responsibilities:
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align technology strategy, architecture, and investment decisions with business objectives and regulatory obligations.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, including business, information, application, and technical architectures, along with supporting policies, standards, and principles.
- Create and manage long-term capability roadmaps, technology strategies, and reference architectures that support innovation and business priorities.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to business leaders, leveraging expertise in Energy & Utilities, IT/OT environments, and SOCI compliance requirements.
- Develop enterprise-wide understanding of business processes, systems, people, and resources to drive continuous improvement and support architecture leadership as required.
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in Enterprise Architecture roles.
- Experience acting as a liaison between Technology and the rest of the business.
- Documented experience within an Enterprise Architecture Practice
- Significant experience with Operational Technology systems
- Previous experience working within Government Trading Entities
