Role Description:
The Head of Strategic People Enablement is an exciting opportunity in our People, Safety & Environment business unit based at our Perth CBD office.
This position is part of senior leadership in the People Safety and Environment Business Unit and as such plays an integral role in the strategic planning of this business unit including supporting the design and delivery of Synergy’s People, Safety and Environment Functional Strategy and sub-functional game plans.
You will be tasked with overseeing all HR operational and strategic activities, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of HR processes, managing the People Enablement team, and aligning HR initiatives with the company's overall strategy.
This will include leading a large multi-disciplinary team of HR generalists and specialists in strategic initiative design and delivery, HR systems implementation and process, policy delivery and improvement and annual cycle activities.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's corporate strategy.
- Embed a continuous improvement mindset in the function to address organisation wide people challenges and opportunities.
- Lead the People Enablement team, providing strategic direction, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, inspiring trust, promoting open communication and encouraging the professional development of team members.
- Oversee transformational people activities within the organisation and support the EGM PSE to drive leadership, strategy and accountability at executive and board level.
- Accountable for efficient delivery of IR/ER, talent acquisition and business partnering, data analytics and reward, payroll and/or other related services
What you will bring:
- Bachelor degree level qualification in either, HR Management or Commerce
- Demonstrable competency and track record of achievement likely to be demonstrated over 12+ years of senior level people management.
- Demonstrable achievement in successfully leading transformative organisational change
- Ability to demonstrate the application of contemporary Human Resource Management / leadership thinking.
- Experienced at leading large multi-disciplinary teams across, with a track record of setting direction and promoting a high-performance culture.
