Role Description:

The Infrastructure OT Lead Role is an opportunity in our IT Core Systems team based across multiple WA sites Including Perth CBD and Kwinana. The role is being offered as a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.  

 

You will be responsible for overseeing the operation, implementation, management, and optimisation of Infrastructure supporting operational technologies within Synergy. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of the infrastructure that supports the Synergy Generation fleet.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of operational technology specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure effective delivery and team development.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Infrastructure to develop and implement strategic plans that support operational technology initiatives and align with broader organisational objectives.
  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of infrastructure for operational technology systems, ensuring safe and secure integration with IT systems to improve data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce cyber security protocols to protect operational technology systems, while ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Manage projects related to the upgrade and enhancement of operational technology systems, including gathering requirements, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement through emerging technologies.

What you will bring:

  • A current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Experience in managing Infrastructure or operational technology systems.
  • Knowledge of Networks, Wintel and Storage, SCADA, and other control systems.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices related to operational technologies.
  • Leadership experience is preferrable, strong communication, and project management skills.
