Role Description:

The Installation Support Officer is a 12 month fixed term opportunity in our Future Energy Business Unit based at our Central Park, Perth City offices.

 

This is a key role to embedding quality industry interactions through our internal teams and business partner and continuously striving to refine and improve the process.

 

The Installation Support Officer will focus on managing and triaging the DER Installation help-desk function for our Western Australia solar industry stakeholders to enable a smooth process implementation and successful commissioning of dynamic solar connections. Providing technical and operational expertise, knowledge transfer and problem resolution guidance in conjunction with process improvement and product contribution.

Job responsibilities:

  • Communicate to key internal and external stakeholders with a high level of efficiency and timeliness.
  • Manage and provide intermediate level support for DER products and building and supporting solid relationships with suppliers.
  • Leading technology process and applications for projects where needed and tracking system maintenance and ensuring systems are VPP capable.
  • Evaluating current project technology and recommending changes where needed.
  • Working with the platforms team to aid the onboarding of DER assets into Synergy platforms and VPP capability.

What you will bring:

  • 1-3 years+ experience in frontline service roles communicating with a diverse customer group within a project delivery setting.
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with quality and compliance practices.
  • Experience using document management, CRM software and advanced computer (MS Office).
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to develop rapport both internally and externally.
