Role Description:
The PSE (People, Safety & Environment) Strategy and Planning Lead is a newly created opportunity in our People., Safety & Environment team based at our Perth Central Park.
The PSE Strategy and Planning Lead plays a critical role in supporting strategic planning and execution across People, Safety and Environment (PSE). This role provides oversight and coordination of the PSE portfolio and Synergy’s people, safety and environment strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment of priorities, clarity of outcomes, milestones and critical path management, and effective stakeholder engagement.
With a strong focus on alignment, clarity, and impact, the role ensures strategic priorities are well-defined, outcomes are measurable, and stakeholders are effectively engaged. It also drives cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement, enabling more efficient, integrated, and future-focused ways of working across PSE and the wider business.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the development, delivery and implementation of strategic plans across PSE.
 - Use best practice research and insights to lead transformational planning, strategy, project management and ensure robust functional reporting.
 - Oversee the PSE strategic portfolio, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organisational priorities and strategic objectives and deliver intended outcomes.
 - Transformational planning, strategy and project management function reporting role
 
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leaders to support informed decision-making and long-term planning.
What you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, or a related discipline.
 - Proven track record in developing people, safety and environment strategies that enables high performance.
 - Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, or transformation leadership within a complex organisational environment.
 - Post-graduate relevant quantitative degree (MBA, CFA or other) would be desirable.
 - Background of effectively working and through large complex organisational change and transition
