Role Description:
The Payments Officer role is a 6-month Max-Term Contract based at our Perth Central Park site and will contribute to the successful delivery of a business-critical project focused on improving customer outcomes and enhancing operational processes.
This position is responsible for executing customer treatment plans, managing payment transactions, and ensuring a compliant, customer-focused experience. You’ll engage with customers via phone and email, providing timely and empathetic support while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
Job responsibilities:
- Process customer payment transactions in a timely and compliant manner.
- Respond to customer queries with empathy and accuracy.
- Support campaign execution and workforce planning by managing assigned tasks and volumes.
- Process payment transactions through various channels as required.
- Efficiently address and resolve enquiries while maintain high customer service standards.
What you will bring:
- Business certificate or recognised prior learning (equivalent accounts receivable experience).
- Previous experience in cash processing, general ledger reconciliations, accounts receivable or similar function.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
