Role Description:
The Product Manager role is responsible for the product portfolio as a member of the Products & Services team. It ensures achievement of product targets, product profitability measures and management of issues impacting the portfolio.
This is a two-year, max term part-time (.6) contract opportunity, which is part of the Products & Services team within the Marketing function of the Customer business unit.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage and support all aspects of product delivery including go-to-market strategy, product performance and internal training.
- Deep understanding of product performance (financial, customer, operations etc) and ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders critical for product delivery.
- Alongside Senior Product Manager, provide proactive recommendations to improve product performance and take advantage of market opportunities.
- Analyse customer, product performance, market trends and market research to optimise existing products and identify new product development opportunities.
- Oversee and contribute to the delivery of product campaigns and communication strategies.
What you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in renewables, engineering, business, economics, marketing or related field.
- At least 2 years experience of Product Management or supporting product delivery through marketing in a product/ services environment including financial services, banking, insurance or energy.
- Good understanding of economic drivers and levers available to optimise financial performance.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen (e.g. managing product performance and P/L accountability).
- Exposure to developing, executing, and maintaining products and services.
