Role Description:

The Project Controller is an exciting 12 month opportunity based at our Perth CBD office. You will be a key member of the project control team, providing support to all Thermal Generation project delivery personnel assisting with administering and controlling all aspects of projects including schedule development and management, maintaining project documentation, project reporting and project financial and procurement management. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Project schedule creation and maintenance including cost, resources, and baselines.
  • Provide regular schedule development and updates for Project Managers and Engineers.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, deliverables, and resources for accurate cost forecast.
  • Report project and portfolio progress and performance using Project Online, AFO and Power Bi.
  • Project and Portfolio financial management, including cost and trend tracking and reporting.

What you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in business administration
  • Experience in a project environment or similar
  • Demonstrated understanding of project lifecycles, project methodologies, change management processes and their importance in successfully delivering projects
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and project management software
  • Ability to research analyse financial information.
