Role Description:
The Renewable Energy Electrical Lead is a newly created opportunity in our Future Energy Team based at our Central Park Office in Perth.
The purpose of this role is to lead the DER (Distributed Energy Resources) Performance team as part of the DER Operations area, to provide ownership of Synergy DER assets and VPP fleets and manage their long-term outcomes and objectives.
Job responsibilities:
- Long term planning of Synergy DER asset and VPP fleet dispatch, operations, maintenance, asset management plans and lifecycle.
- Inform the wider DER Operations function of key constraints for asset operation and dispatch.
- Ownership of contract management functions for DER market services.
- Support Synergy projects and development as a subject matter expert (SME).
- Use operational data to continuously improve long term operating models, asset and fleet objectives and constraints.
- DER solar and residential battery dispatch orchestration.
What you will bring:
- Electrical trade qualification, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Tertiary level degree qualification in a relevant field.
- Bring Subject Matter experience in Renewable Energy Processes
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience auditing and updating processes as delivery evolves.
- Knowledge of OH&S obligations.
