Role Description:

The Salesforce Developer role is an exciting opportunity in our Customer Technologies team based at our Perth Central Park site on a 6-month Fixed-Term contract.

The Salesforce Developer role will be focused on the design and development of the Marketing Cloud ecosystem solutions and aligning to best practice. The purpose of this position is to work in collaboration with the Salesforce Developers, Agile Teams, and business stakeholders to develop solutions that meet the business requirements and align with set standards.

Job responsibilities:

  • Implementing technical solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to meet business needs including building campaigns, automations, setting up data views, and other technical configuration projects involving Marketing Cloud.
  • Developing solutions based on Salesforce Marketing Cloud data management, scripting languages (AMPscript, SSJS, WSProxy), and SQL.
  • Executing Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Content Builder, MobileConnect, Email Studio) or development activities per assigned tasks.
  • Developing cross-cloud solutions based on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales/Service Clouds.
  • Supporting deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions from test to production environments.

What you will bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working on Journey Builder, Analytics Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Content Builder, MobileConnect, Email Studio, Web Studio, or MC Connect.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud having obtained any of the four Marketing Cloud certifications, with a preference for the Marketing Cloud Developer certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, with particular emphasis on leveraging data from Sales/Service Clouds in Marketing Cloud for personalisation and dynamic content.
  • Proficiency with AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, XML, Javascript and SQL.
  • Experience working with the Marketing Cloud SOAP and REST-based APIs.
