Senior Corporate Finance Analyst

Perth

We're leading Western Australians to their intelligent energy future.

And we want you to be part of it.

You might know us as Western Australia's largest electricity generator and energy retailer, supporting 1.2 million customers across the state.

But what you might not know, is that we’re investing in renewable energy projects, including wind farms and big batteries, to help build a more sustainable and reliable future.

Our big batteries are now live in Kwinana and Collie, we’re expanding the Warradarge Wind Farm, building the new King Rocks Wind Farm, and we have many other projects in the works.

We're a purpose-driven organisation, owned by the people of WA. Our commitment is to ensure all Western Australians have access to secure, reliable, and sustainable energy.

We believe that the benefits of renewable energy aren’t just for some, they're for everyone.

This is where you come in.

Role Description:

Job responsibilities:

  • Contribute to insurance program activities, including annual insurance placements, claims management, broker liaison, project insurance placement, and preparation of materials for senior leadership and Board committees.
  • Prepare and deliver reporting and insights for management, Board, and internal committees, supporting effective decision-making across treasury, insurance, trading governance and risk management activities.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across Finance, Wholesale and Customer Business Units, and external parties such as government regulators, insurers, and financial institutions.

What you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline, with CA or CPA qualifications highly regarded.
  • Experience with corporate finance, treasury or insurance processes, ideally gained in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • A working knowledge of energy trading market rules and renewable energy legislation is advantageous but not required.
