Role Description:
The Senior Customer Insights Specialist is an exciting 6-month Max-Term contract opportunity in our Customer Marketing team based at our Perth Central Park office. This role plays a critical part in shaping how the organisation understands and responds to customer needs, delivering insight that supports strategic decision-making and enhances the overall customer experience.
Working within the Products & Services team, the role is responsible for driving a customer-centric mindset by building a deep understanding of customer behaviours, preferences and perceptions. Through the development of a structured insights approach, the position contributes to improved product design, service delivery and go-to-market strategies, ensuring decisions are grounded in meaningful customer evidence.
This role collaborates closely with stakeholders across the Customer Business Unit and broader Marketing function, as well as external research partners, to ensure insights are embedded across the organisation. It offers the opportunity to influence both operational and strategic outcomes, helping to deliver value for customers while supporting Synergy’s broader business objectives.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of a customer insights strategy and roadmap aligned to organisational priorities.
- Design and execute end-to-end quantitative and qualitative customer research programs.
- Analyse customer data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Manage and prioritise a portfolio of customer insights projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external research partners to embed customer insights into business strategies and initiatives.
What you will bring:
- Degree qualification with 5-7+ years’ experience in customer insights, market research, or customer experience.
- Strong capability across end-to-end quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Proven ability to analyse complex data and translate insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Strong organisational skills, strategic mindset, and a proactive approach with a passion for customer advocacy.
