Role Description:
The Senior Customer Training Specialist is an exciting 12-month Max Term Contract opportunity in our Residential and Customer Operations team based at our Perth Central Park office. This role is pivotal in driving strategic and impactful training initiatives that elevate customer service delivery across the Customer Business Unit (CBU).
With a strong focus on performance and continuous improvement, the Senior Customer Training Specialist leads the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of learning solutions that align with business goals. The role also provides guidance and support to Customer Training Specialists, manages training project lifecycles, and oversees vendor relationships to ensure high-quality outcomes.
This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned learning and development professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys strategic planning, and is passionate about empowering teams through effective training.
Job responsibilities:
- Design and deliver targeted learning solutions to support the rollout of a new CRM, driving performance and enhancing the customer experience.
- Project manage the implementation of a modular, interactive, and compliance-focused induction program using strong instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Conduct training needs analyses and develop strategic training plans aligned with business goals and performance outcomes.
- Champion a strong risk and compliance culture by identifying risks, contributing to process mapping, and supporting audit remediation actions.
- Drive team success by providing coaching, demonstrating leadership, and actively contributing to initiatives that foster engagement and collaboration.
What you will bring:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior learning and development role, with a strong track record of delivering impactful training solutions.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Psychology, or Learning Design (Preferred).
- Expertise in managing large-scale L&D projects, with proficiency in eLearning tools like Articulate Rise.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Bonus points for leadership experience within L&D and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
