Role Description:

The Senior People Data Analyst is an exciting opportunity in our P&C Systems & Analytics team based at our Perth Central Park office.

The Senior People Data Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision making across the People functions. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced analytics, dashboards, and insights that support strategic workforce planning, employee experience, inclusion and diversity, and strategic people initiatives, including Synergy’s Corporate strategy.

 

The senior analyst will partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data solutions and foster a culture of evidence-based decision making.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualising using tools such as Power BI or similar
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on workforce trends and people metrics
  • Collaborate with P&C Business Partners, OD & Learning, DE&I and other teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
  • Support the annual P&C processes e.g. annual remuneration review; workforce budget process; through provision of timely and accurate data and analytics

What you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business, Statistics or related field
  • Proven experience in HR analytics, workforce planning or related data-focused role
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel and data visualisation tools
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data
