Role Description:
The Senior People Data Analyst is an exciting opportunity in our People Systems, Data and Insights team based at our Perth Central Park office.
The Senior People Data Analyst transforms complex people data within People, Safety and Environment into decision-ready, predictive and actionable insights that guide better people and business decisions, positioning the People Systems, Data & Insights team as a strategic partner and centre-of-excellence.
This role advances analytics capability, standardises reporting, and uses data storytelling to influence leadership on workforce strategy and to build a consistent analytic brand. Embedding robust governance, the Senior People Data Analyst enables proactive, data-driven decisions across PSE and business units.
Job responsibilities:
- Deliver Strategic People Insights with a focus on HSE data
- Build and enhance analytics systems, leveraging data science, predictive modelling, and automation
- Improve and maintain the quality, consistency and integrity of people data across systems and sources
- Develop an integrated data library to help set standards and definitions for people outcomes and performance
- Continuously improve standardised templates, visualisations, and storytelling approaches to create a unified analytics brand across People, Safety & Environment
What you will bring:
- Proven experience in HR and/or HSE analytics, workforce planning, or related data-focused role
- Strong proficiency in data visualisation tools
- Experience using automation and/or AI tools
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation or analysis
