Role Description:
The Senior Salesforce Developer role is an opportunity to join our Customer Technologies team based at our Perth Central Park site on a 6-month Fixed-Term contract.
The Salesforce Developer will be focused on the design and development of the Salesforce ecosystem solutions and aligning to best practice. Synergy’s Salesforce ecosystem is a broad footprint which encompasses Energy & Utilities, Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ, Order Management and Marketing Clouds. The purpose of this position is to work in collaboration with the Salesforce developers, agile teams, and business stakeholders to develop solutions that meet the business requirements and align with set standards.
Job responsibilities:
- Create quality code (including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce) and Salesforce configurations (including Omnistudio, Flows, Experience Cloud Sites, Security Permissions, Connected Apps) that align to Synergy standards and ensure technical debt is limited.
- Identify when solutions would be better with Salesforce configuration and engage with the functional analysts.
- Work within agile team environments in a collaborative manner and deliver designs and solutions within the agreed timeframes.
- Document and update technical design documentation (including Open API specifications, UML diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and other Salesforce specific documentation) for system implementation and integration projects and peer review relevant documentation to ensure alignment.
- Identify, propose, and influence solutions; negotiate requirements and deliverables in collaboration with the wider Salesforce Developers and Architects.
What you will bring:
- 2+ years’ experience developing and or supporting a large-scale Salesforce Platform Environment.
- Preferred Salesforce Certifications including Salesforce JavaScript Developer I, Salesforce OmniStudio Developer, Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer.
- Developed solutions that demonstrate an understanding of when it is best to use configuration or customisation features on the Salesforce Platform.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Sales, Service (incl. Call Centres) and/or Marketing Teams.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Salesforce Sales, Service, Omnistudio, CPQ or Marketing Cloud and developing solutions using these out of the box features.
