Role Description:
The Senior Test Analyst role is a newly created opportunity in our Wholesale Platforms Team based at our Perth Central Park site.
This role is responsible for conducting software testing activities and ensuring compliance to Synergy’s quality and regulatory obligations.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test strategies and test plans based on Project and/or DevOps requirements and specifications.
- Participate in the Wholesale Platforms team daily stand-ups, reporting on progress and adhering to sprint cycles.
- Analysis and creation of data sets to support test execution activities.
- Manage test cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, reporting and documentation of defects in Azure DevOps.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, to ensure alignment of testing requirements, outcomes, and progress.
What you will bring:
- Extensive (approx. 5+ years) experience in software testing and QA in a complex software environment.
- Experience in API testing and testing in SIT, UAT and PVT environments and contexts.
- Experience working with defect management and test support tools.
- Experience of testing concepts and approaches within different project methodologies (Exploratory, Agile, V Model, Risk Based).
- Demonstrated knowledge of QA methods across each stage of the SDLC, with ISTQB certification.
