Role Description:
The Site Administration Officer is a newly created 2-year Max-Term Contract opportunity in our Renewable Projects team based at our King Rocks Wind Farm site. This role plays a vital part in supporting the successful delivery of renewable energy construction projects by providing high-quality administrative support to the site-based management team.
Working closely with project leaders, contractors, and service providers, the Site Administration Officer ensures smooth day-to-day operations through effective coordination of documentation, logistics, procurement, and financial processes. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of project activity.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance and supporting team collaboration. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a service-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in contributing to Western Australia's renewable energy future.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the site-based Renewable Projects team, ensuring smooth and compliant day-to-day operations.
- Manage site documentation and correspondence, including contract files, registers, and meeting minutes, using Synergy’s systems.
- Coordinate procurement and financial processes such as raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and reconciling vendor issues.
- Support site logistics including team mobilisation, accommodation arrangements, and supply coordination.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure timely communication and resolution of administrative matters.
What you will bring:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative environment, with strong skills in document management, filing systems, and keyboard proficiency.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation and reports.
- Experience in contract administration and familiarity with procurement and financial processes, including invoice management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a site-based project environment, with strong attention to detail, time management, and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
- An awareness of community expectations, with a respectful and professional approach to stakeholder engagement and project impact.
