Role Description:

The DER Retailer Engagement Advisor role is a 12 month fixed term opportunity in our Future Energy Team based at our Central Park offices in Perth.

 

The DER Retailer Engagement Advisor will be critical to embedding quality industry interactions through our internal teams, business partners and Western Australia solar industry stakeholders to enable a smooth process and successful commissioning of dynamic solar connections. You will provide an industry perspective and feedback to ensure guidance is practical, actionable, and fit for real world application. Providing technical and operational coaching expertise, knowledge transfer and problem resolution guidance in conjunction with process improvement and product contribution.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead and support project technology processes, including evaluating current solutions and recommending improvements
  • Work with platform teams to support pilot onboarding and DER delivery into Synergy platforms and VPP capability
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and partners
  • Provide technical advice and intermediate support for DER products, asset commissioning, and software applications 

What you will bring:

  • Recent inverter installation experience (within the last 2 years) in either residential or commercial solar/battery systems.
  • Have experience completing electrical contracting work 
  • Experience with quality and compliance practices
  • Experience in frontline roles communicating with a diverse customer group within a project delivery setting
