Role Description:
The Strategic Workforce Planning and Organisational Design Specialist is an opportunity in our People Strategy and Planning Team based at our Perth Central Park office.
The purpose of the position is to support and facilitate initiatives that enhance organisational capability and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Focus areas include driving strategic workforce planning and optimising organisational design to meet current and future business needs. By taking a strategic and hands-on approach, the role contributes significantly to shaping a robust and adaptive organisation equipped to deliver on its goals.
Job responsibilities:
- Analysing current workforce trends, forecasting future staffing requirements, and aligning workforce strategies with organisational objectives.
- Developing and implementing optimal structures, operating models, and processes to enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collecting and interpreting workforce data to identify gaps, assess trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Establishing policies, controls, and governance frameworks to underpin workforce planning and organisational design activities.
- Working closely with senior leaders, HR teams, and strategy departments to ensure alignment and drive the successful delivery of outcomes.
What you will bring:
- Extensive experience in workforce planning and organisational development in similar environments.
- Degree qualifications in Commerce, Arts or Sciences with a major in psychology, organisational development, or human resources.
- Success at enabling corporate strategy through thought leadership in the areas of enterprise level capability and design.
- Ability to undertake research and analyse data and develop products and services aligned to strategic goals.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects.
