Role Description:

The Vulnerable Customer Practice Principal is an exciting 18-month max-term opportunity in our Vulnerable Customer team based at our Perth Central Park office.

 

The Vulnerable Customer Practice Principal is responsible for providing best practice case management support and specialised knowledge in socio-economic issues, communities of practice and community sector solutions to support the Vulnerable Customer team, including stewardship of Energy Ahead as a key community-based energy affordability and early intervention program.

 

The Vulnerable Customer Practice Principal is part of Vulnerable Customer leadership team and plays an integral role in the strategic planning of this business unit.

Job responsibilities:

  • Advise Synergy on emerging customer vulnerability in the community, to shape sustainability and financial goals and planning.
  • Building successful relationships between all aspects of the organisation that help and support our Vulnerable Customers and Community Stakeholders.
  • Ensures quality implementation of community-based services in line with contractual obligations and compliance requirements of programs and appropriate reporting back to funders.
  • Develops a culture of care and concern to enable the empathetic delivery of products and services to vulnerable customers.
  • Represents Synergy and leads involvement with key community organisations and government bodies, including Energy Ahead governance and delivery partnerships.

What you will bring:

  • Community services or customer engagement experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the community sector or human services organisation.
  • Experienced member of a senior leadership or executive team, with demonstrated experience leading teams and stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of best practice relating to case management including person-centred and trauma-informed practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of community services and the current emerging trends and changes within the human services sector.
