Role Description:
The Maintenance Planner is a newly created opportunity based at our Pinjar Power Station site.
To plan and schedule maintenance tasks at a detailed level and distribute to individual work groups, to enable outage maintenance, operational, and contract work to be effectively executed in a safe and efficient manner to the allow the section to meet performance goals. The services will be consistent with competitive standards for safety, quality, service delivery, costs and customer satisfaction.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop integrated, resource-loaded maintenance schedules for all maintenance capital projects, and routine maintenance activities.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise maintenance plans and schedules for routine, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate labour, materials, contractors, specialist services, and logistics to ensure the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities and plan and schedule inspection, operation, and maintenance activities for plant, equipment, and systems across assigned assets.
- Ensure all maintenance planning and scheduling activities are undertaken in accordance with the Work Management process and established procedures.
- Raise and manage requisitions and purchase orders for contractors, materials, and services in compliance with procurement and governance requirements and collaborate with site personnel, technicians, engineers, and key stakeholders to continuously improve maintenance planning, scheduling, and work management practices.
- Monitor schedule performance, identify risks and constraints, and implement mitigation strategies to support the delivery of maintenance activities and support the achievement of reliability, safety, cost, and operational performance targets through effective maintenance planning and execution.
What you will bring:
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a planning, coordination, or asset-intensive environment, including administrative or operational roles requiring strong planning, analytical and organisational capability
- Driver’s Licence Class “C”
- SAP and Microsoft suite experience and sound knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices
- Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance standards and practices
- Experience in contract management procedures and practices
