Role Description:
The Senior Outage Planner is a newly created opportunity based at our Pinjar Power Station.
You will be required to plan and schedule maintenance tasks at a detailed level and distribute to individual work groups, to enable outage maintenance, operational, and contract work to be effectively executed in a safe and efficient manner to the allow the section to meet performance goals. The services will be consistent with competitive standards for safety, quality, service delivery, costs and customer satisfaction.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop outage work lists covering maintenance service tasks, engineering inspections, projects, and routine maintenance
- Determine and actively manage the critical path to minimise outage duration and level resources effectively.
- Develop and continuously improve master data, maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance databases and schedule performance
- Plan and package all work by preparing work breakdown structures, estimates, scope specifications, and work methods.
- Develop integrated, fully labour‑resourced schedules for minor and major plant outages, projects, and routine maintenance.
What you will bring:
- 3-5 years’ experience within the mining, energy, or heavy industrial sector; experience within a thermal power station is highly desirable.
- Must have SAP and Microsoft suite experience
- Sound knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices.
- Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance standards and practices.
- Contract management procedures and practices.
